DON'T BUY FROM INLINE TUBE...CHEAP PARTS , TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Purchased an entire disc/drum brake kit for my 66 GTO...one year later the proportioning valve is leaking. Contacted them to find out it's a common problem that they are aware of. (Have been for years apparently) was told a new one would be sent right out to me from the manufacturer and should have it in a few days. I've been waiting for two weeks now and still hasn't arrived! When you call you get the run around. I found an original one from a place in Stafford Springs, Connecticut called "New GTO Telephone: 860-558-****". I will NEVER do business with Inline Tube again...BEWARE!

Inline Tube.... Horrible Experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased 3/8" Stainless Steel Fuel Lines with AN Fittings. Received the lines 8 days later.

So glad I decided to pressure test prior to installation, because all 4 fittings leak. Emailed the Tech Greg with a video showing the leaks. He gave me an excuse that another Tech has to review. 3 days later he said he will make new lines and shipped them to me.

Well... received the new line, however they were the wrong lines. I assume he mixed up my order with another. Emailed Greg and of course he has to have a tech look into it.

Well its been a week and no response either by phone or email. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM INLINE TUBE AGAIN.

Inline Tube - Brake Line Review

Inline Tube - Brake Line Review

I purchased a set of flexable braided stainless steel brake hoses and full set of replacement brake lines. I had a off center flare which caused a leak which i cut off and reflared.

Although now the lines look like garage. And a flexable brake line that was brittle enough i accidentally snapped it by hand.

I jammed a rivet in there to stop the fluid from pouring out. When talking to customer service i was told that because i bought the parts almost a year ago the best they could do was have me buy a new set and they would give me a discount.

Not a complete order

I ordered stainless steel brake lines from my 83 Ford I told the salesman Dan that I read the reviews the ones not impressed I was leery about buying them from him but he insured me to be no problems as long as I gave him the right make and model of the vehicle and yes they come in and and look very nice but there was one piece missing so I called him company and all they can do is say I'm sorry and will ship it out within a week so my truck sits down for another week and all they can do is say sorry pretty pathetic yes everyone makes mistakes but you should double-check and you should compensate for your mistake and help the customer because the customer relies on his vehicle so the customer loses money but they lose nothing all they can say is sorry and they don't even mean that

Bad to the core

I worked at inline tube and it was the worst time of my life. They go through about 40 different employees a year.

The owners john, james, and al are simply put, jerks. They walk by and are to good to even talk to you. They treat people like ***, that is why most people quit after one day. There is no opportunity to move up, they are filled with empty promises.

They just use you. They have no loyalty to the ones that try and work hard. All everyone does is fight there, so their quality suffers. Lastly they will not hire african americans a couple of managers are simply racist.

So buyers beware! Is this a company you want to do business with

I worked there as well and yes it is a bad place to work. The place is overworked and understaffed and they go through people quickly, the management is poor and they play favorites with certain employees...

I gave inline tube 1 star. They thanked me for my positive feedback.

I ordered a set of brake lines for my 2000 chevy 2500 reg cab 4x4 through ebay. The kit they sent me was for a hd 3/4 and 1 ton. When I called tech support for assistance, they refused to help saying that I had to deal with their ebay rep. Their ebay rep said it should fit, but would talk to tech support. After 3 emails and 2 phone calls with no resolution, I was able to get a refund thru the ebay resolution process. I ordered a dorman 919-136 and it fit perfectly.

I purchased stainless fuel lune and brake line kit for a 2002 silverado. To start with the "laser measuered" is a joke. Nothing lines up to retainers. Had to bend every single one to fit correctly.same with fuel lines. 8 months later fuel feed line "crimp" (and i use that word loosely) blew apart. Towed home $269. Called customer service. Wa told ," Well you purchased it 8 months ago, i shouldnt do this but ill send you a new one,you need to pay shipping". Seriously!!!! Charged me $49 gor shipping. WHATEVER. Put it in. Now 4 months later return line starts *** fuel out of rubber hose. Figure its a return so i cut off crimp and clamped a nee hose on. 5 months later same hose blows out of crimp. $160 tow home. Cut it apart and clamped a nee hose. Now 4 months later loee rubber feed hose dry rottef and *** fuel onto the 700 degree cat convertor. Inline tube you suck!!!!!!!

Wrong part

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
i ordered a non power disc brake master cylinder for my 70 chevelle and got one for a power brake system. prior to ordering i called them to make sure the part was for non power. he assured me it was. i asked him if it had a 1 1/2 inch hole in the rear of the piston. he said yes so i ordered it. when i got it i called to tell them it was wrong and i got the same guy. he said it was for both but i had to buy an adapter to convert my car to fit his incorrect part. i told him that was not acceptable and i wanted a return label to send it back. he refused and said i had to pay the return cost to send their incorrect part back. i said i would have to dispute it with my cc company and he said "don't threaten me". do not do business with these people. they are not honest about their products and it will cost you when they make a mistake.

Inline Tube - Brake Kit Review from Charlotte, North Carolina

Inline Tube - Brake Kit Review from Charlotte, North Carolina
Their flaring capability is disappointing. The flares have metal slivers attached to the end of the double flare. They sent me 3 sets of brake lines. All 3 had the same problem, even the set the head marketing guy (Pete) personally inspected that took weeks to arrive. Wound up having a local guy bend up a set for me. Worked great and was faster and cheaper than inline tube. Wish I would have realized how incapable inline tube is sooner. Dan is their worst sales and support person. If he answers your call, just ask to speak to someone else so you are not mislead. Didn't bother to ask for a refund from inline tube... they are too good at stalling and wasting time.

Inline Tube - Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered a set of custom stainless brake hoses for 1977 F150 4x4. The sales rep, Greg, informed me that he knew exactly what I needed. A week later I received my order consisting of the front and rear hoses to the axles, and the two hoses to the calipers, a brass tee, and 7 hose adapters. The problem was the adapters were male on both ends, and I only needed 4. I called Greg, and he was very accomodating. He exchanged the wrong adapters for correct ones. He emailed me a prepaid shipping label to send the wrong parts back. Very professional.

Inline Tube - Customer Care Review from Austin, Texas

Called before going to inline tube. The salesperson I spoke with on the phone was polite and helpful. The salesperson I spoke with when I visited was rude and told me the techs there were not capable of doing what I needed (putting 2 bends in a piece of 3/8 tubing) I also needed a combo valve and 3 stock line sets. This salesperson made every effort not to help me and I left with nothing. Very disappointed....Earl Stone

Defective parts

i ordered a complete disk conversion kit for my 67 firebird. It is getting a time consuming ground up restoration. I bought 1000.00 worth of parts from inline tube. Over the 11 months it has taken me to complete this faze of restoration I encountered a rear drum warped excessively ,a missing brake line and lastly a leaking caliper. the car has not yet even had four wheels on it. Inline tube first required me to pay shipping on the missing brake line. After discovering the leaking caliper, they told me due to the time limits they would not replace the caliper but would sell me one at cost,(40.00). I called auto zone and purchased one for 24.99 with lifetime warranty.

Brake drum kit

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered a brake drum kit for 1977 Chevy Monza. When I received it the brake drums were 5 lug instead of 4 lug. The inner diameter was too large for my axle. The backing plates were also the wrong size to fit the axle. They said it was my fault because the picture clearly showed a 5 lug drum. They said something must be different about my car because it is 4 lug, I told him all Chevy Monza are 4 lug, It keep telling me the picture shows 5 lug. They said I would have to pay to ship them back to them.

GTO fuel line did not have the loom installed

Purchased a set of fuel lines for 1969 GTO. One line was fine.

On the other line they did the flange before putting the loom on. Once the tube has the flange there is no possible way to get the loom on. They just threw the loom into the box and shipped it that way. They said I would have to pay to ship it back.

WTF? Offered to take pictures and email them the pictures. The biggest insult though was that they threw the loom into the box.

Obviously they saw the problem and shipped the line anyway. Very troubling indeed.

I just saw this review saying the tube could be cut and reflared making the buyer look dumb. My come back is after the coil is added and the tube is reflared where do you get the tool to stretch the tube back to it's OEM specs?

Guest

the problem is that he didnt pay to fix the lines that were new in the box and were to fit excatly.... he paid to install them not to custom cut and repair new parts..

Guest

Very easy fix .. Cut the flare using a tubing cutter ...

install the look and then reflate the line ...

All of about ten minutes worth of work. Took you longer to type the complaint.

So tell me you anonymous ding *** if it is such an easy thing why did they not do it? Just threw the loom in the box.

See my point?? It being sooo easy really makes them look worse don't you think?
